Nurses usually go above and beyond for their patients. We put their lives ahead of our own and under extraordinary circumstances this is especially the case. Mrs. Peggy Utinsky was an American nurse that happened to be living in the Philippines at the time the Japanese forces invaded on Dec 8, 1941, the day the United States joined WWII. This is the story of her work during the Japanese occupation and her tireless work to help as many American prisoners of war as she could with her underground Miss U network.
